With nearly 25 years of clinical nursing and administrative experience in acute care, Tim Guest has worked in urban academic centres and rural regionalized health systems. He joined Annapolis Valley Health as vice-president in 2009, adding chief nursing officer to his role in 2011. Prior to this, he held senior executive positions at Peace Country Health in Alberta. He has extensive experience in health system planning, including the implementation of a provincial clinical IT project. Tim holds a master of Business Administration in Executive Management with a specialization in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and a bachelor of science in Nursing from the University of Alberta. Tim is also a member of the College of Health Leaders and a surveyor with Accreditation Canada. He has also held positions on the council of the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia and the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
