The zone is also home to Ski Wentworth, one of the ski resorts in the province and Fox Harb’r the legendary golf course enjoyed by celebrities from all over. Quick access to New Brunswick and PEI make this location a small town charm with regional access to the larger centres of Halifax and Moncton in less than 2 hours.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority, Amherst Site is presently seeking a 0.4 Anesthetist to add to our full time anesthesiology complement, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center. We are located between the two major referral centers in Atlantic Canada, with a catchment of 40,000. We have a collegial Anesthesiology Service that is currently managed between two fulltime and one part time Anesthetist. We boast one of the most advanced operating theatres in Atlantic Canada with very reasonable OR time sharing. The position is an APP. This opportunity offers a varied scope of practice (e.g. general, Obstetrics, ENT, Peds, etc.)
Candidates must ascertain College of Physician and Surgeons of Nova Scotia Licensure and have their FRCPC designation, solid references and appropriate experience.
